The ANC Professionals’ League would like to challenge all professionals, both members of the ANC and non-members, in the spirit of Thuma Mina, to team up and use their expertise to implement high impact, community-based projects that will improve the lives of our people.

There is often no point to education if it is used as a private asset of those who attain it. Our global experience and skills must, primarily, be used to improve the lives of ordinary South Africans who do not have access to basic services and infrastructure. Whether it’s financial advisory services for iStokvela soMama; or improving sanitation in under-serviced schools and communities; or running health outreach programmes; or starting an Early Childhood Development Centre in a township or rural area; or opening a computer lab to teach kid’s coding and other digital skills; or starting an entrepreneurship programme to deal with youth unemployment. Step 1: Identify a need in a community that can benefit from your skills and intervention
Step 2: Conceptualise a project that will have high impact on the need identified
Step 3: Invite other professionals with the requisite set of skills to join your team
Step 4: Load your project and team on the ANCPL Facebook page for tracking and collaboration
